Graduate Program Focus Areas

Customer Success

The global re/insurance industry has long been making deep use of our products and services. Other areas – including banks, investors, governments, and corporates – are increasingly realizing the value potential we provide. Companies across all these industries need our expertise to achieve the most successful outcomes from their investments in us. Our graduates bring technical / scientific aptitude, customer service orientation, and a great work ethic to equip the company with the best people to partner with our clients.

Model Development

Moody's RMS pioneered the catastrophe risk modeling industry in 1989 after Stanford scientists developed our first model for California Earthquake. Our commitment to developing our suite of world-leading catastrophe models - from hurricanes to cyber attacks - that allow our customers to understand and manage risk remains as fresh as it did over 30 years ago. Our graduates enable us to continue with this momentum by bringing a mix of deep technical/scientific aptitude and creativity to keep us at the forefront of innovation.

Software

Changing global trends require a systematic view of risk with bold technological and scientific investments. Our Intelligent Risk Platform brings together our excellence in science, modelling, and beyond to offer customers access to consistent and trusted data, collaborate through connected applications, and unify their view of risk. Our Software graduates join the teams that delivers the industry’s first open-standard risk platform – providing risk management enterprises with the technology and in-depth data to obtain a global view of risk on a cloud-native environment.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

I think first and foremost, I love that every day brings something new. Some jobs can feel quite mundane when you do the same work day in and day out. Moody’s RMS is the opposite of that. There is always a new client challenge to be solved and I really enjoy the variety of work I get to do (and the awesome people I get to do it with).
