Reviewing RMS Terrorism Frequency and 2021 Risk Outlook

For nearly 20 years RMS has offered solutions that empower effective management, monitoring, of terrorism exposure worldwide. One of the most controversial components of terrorism risk modeling is the estimation of attack frequency. Many risk managers consider models incapable of estimating the number of major terrorist attacks, as human actions are impossible to forecast. RMS considers frequency modeling to be not only possible, but necessary for managing terrorism risk.

Join us to hear from Dr. Gordon Woo -  a detailed session on data driven RMS Terrorism frequency modeling. Dr. Woo is the chief architect of the RMS terrorism risk model. He was named by Treasury & Risk magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in finance in 2004. He has since lectured on terrorism at the NATO Center of Excellence for the Defense against Terrorism, and testified before the U.S. Congress on terrorism-risk modeling.
