Formerly Moody’s RMS
In June 2023, Moody's RMS is releasing the next update to its North Atlantic Hurricane Model suite. Informed by new hurricane activity, loss data, research, and other learnings since Version 21 in 2021, Version 23 includes enhancements across all model components, including the most comprehensive update to U.S. vulnerability since 2015.
Similarly, Moody's RMS will be releasing updated industry exposure databases and loss curves later this month. Incorporating the latest geospatial, socioeconomic, and valuation and exposure reference data, this is the most extensive update since 2018. These updates will drive improved representation for U.S. and Caribbean hurricane exposure, as well as other country/region peril industry exposure.
This client webinar on April 20, at 10 a.m. EDT (3 p.m. BST) provides an overview of the scope and rationale of key model and exposure updates, as well as loss impacts for both the U.S. and non-U.S. modeled regions.
