Our delegates are heading for home at the end of an amazing conference, after three days packed full of insight and innovation, coupled with practical strategies that everyone can take back to their respective companies and help move forward with transformation.
It is so exciting when the global risk management community comes together for Exceedance, and we appreciate the contribution that every delegate makes to it, whether it has been in our panel sessions, our Fundamentals training or questions to our experts. And our Exceedance delegates are so enthusiastic — even after our big Exceedance Party (EP) the night before. With such a comprehensive track program over the past two days, with seven tracks and over sixty sessions, today we had repeats of some of the main track sessions, including wildfire and U.S. inland flood, with good attendances.
That brings us back to the Exceedance Party last night. The main ballroom was transformed into our Havana Nights theme, with fedoras, salsa music, great food and great company. The non-stop, never-ending churro stall, group selfie photobooth and blueberry mojitos (one of three special mojitos) flowed all night, and the dancefloor was full. We did Miami proud, and social media buzzed as EP lived up to its reputation as the party that brings us all together.
Keep sharing your experiences of Exceedance on social media, and over the coming days look out in your inbox for our conference survey. Your feedback is vital to ensure we keep evolving Exceedance to meet your needs, so please share your experience and let us know what you’d like to see in our future Exceedance programs.
With Tuesday, May 15, 2018 officially declared “Risk Management Solutions Day in the City of Miami,” signed and sealed by Mayor Francis Suarez, we really appreciate the warm welcome the city has given us. So, thank you to everyone who attended Exceedance this year, and if you have your diary ready, circle May 13-16, 2019, as we make a welcome return back to the InterContinental Miami next year. Perhaps Tuesday, May 15, 2019 will also get official recognition!
